The first Mr. Pet's opened its doors in Port Coquitlam in 1996. The following year, the Maple Ridge store began operations. To better serve their growing clientele, both locations soon expanded. Port Coquitlam took over the larger corner lot, and Maple Ridge added a second floor for small animals, fish, reptiles, and other exotics.
In 2002, our third store opened in Mission to serve both the farm industry and local pet owners. The Commercial Drive location in Vancouver has been open since 2005. Like the Maple Ridge store, it has a second floor full of fish, birds, and other pets.
We currently have 5 locations and carry a wide assortment of over 8000 unique pet products with stores ranging in size from 5000-7000 sqft. We have 50 associates dedicated to serving you. All our stores use state of the art fixturing from shelving to pet displays. We have a combined total of 9200 gallons of freshwater aquarium displays.
At this time we only have an "add to list" option and do not have a shopping cart
system on our website. We use the website to illustrate products and pricing
to our local customers.
