My chickens diet is 1/2 cooking and gardening scraps and 1/2 this stuff. I use it as a cheap way to pad out their diet. They prefer cooking and gardening scraps of course so will eat that first, but once that's gone they finish this off pretty quickly. They'd eat this if it was the only thing available.
