Dwarf Sparkling Gourami

The Dwarf Sparkling Gourami, also known as the Pygmy Gourami or Trichopsis pumila, is a small freshwater fish native to Southeast Asia. It is a popular choice for aquarium hobbyists due to its bright colors, peaceful nature, and ease of care. The Dwarf Sparkling Gourami is a small fish, growing to a maximum length of around 1.5 inches (4 cm). It has a bright iridescent blue-green coloration with red and orange accents on its fins. Males have longer and more pointed dorsal and anal fins, while females have shorter, rounder fins. The Dwarf Sparkling Gourami is a peaceful fish that can be kept in community aquariums with other small, non-aggressive fish.
