Treatment for fungal infections on fish, fish eggs, & fish fry
Also effective against some external parasites & protozoans
Aquarie Methylene Blue treats fungal infections on fish and is safe for use with eggs and fry to prevent infections. Also effective against some bacteria, gill disease, and some external parasites & protozoans such as ichthyophthirius, costia, chilodonella, epistylis, and oodinium. Helpful in treating cyanide or nitrite poisoning in new fish.
Shake well before use and remove any carbon from your filter. Add one capful (5ml) per 10 gallons of water. After 24 hours, perform a partial water change and re-treat. Continue
treatment for a total of 3-5 days. At the end of the treatment, perform a 25% water change, add carbon back to the filter, and dose the aquarium with beneficial bacteria.
For fungal prevention of eggs, continue the treatment for 2-3 days after the eggs have hatched.
Caution
Do not use on fish intended for consumption. Carbon will interfere with the treatment, so you must remove it before treating your tank. It is best to treat fish in a separate hospital tank.
Treatment can harm plants and good bacteria, stain silicone, or get absorbed by porous decor.
Freshwater & saltwater.
Zinc free.
Keep away from children. If swallowed, seek medical advice. Avoid skin contact. In case of contact with skin, wash with soap. In case of eye contact, flush with water for 15 min and seek medical attention.
